Concerts are held on first Friday of the month

OUR FEBRUARY CONCERT
WITH ANDREW NIX
Andrew Nix at Woodhall Spa
Once again the weather was very poor, nevertheless some 43 people ventured out for our concert which was given by the very entertaining organist Andrew Nix.
Andrew gave us a superb evening of music and entertainment, which included several pieces with a video accompaniment, put together by Andrew, which greatly complemented the music.
He opened with a superb medley of tunes associated with The Shadows. This was followed by “Sleepy Shores”, a medley of music from “Grease”, a medley of Roy Orbison music and a Beatles medley. He then played some music associated with Andre Rieu which was the first of the medleys to be accompanied by a video presentation.
The second half included music of Elvis Presley songs including “Falling in Love with you”. We then had another medley accompanied by an amazing video presentation, which included music from “Conquest of Paradise” and “Titanic”.
It was an amazing concert and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone there.
Next month our concert, which is on Friday March 6th. will be given by Ian Griffin.
