OUR NOVEMBER CONCERT
WITH TONY STACE
Tony Stace at Woodhall Spa
Our November concert was given by Tony Stace. Tony was in top form and we had a big audience to appreciate his performance. He started with great gusto with "The Trish Trash Polka" by Johann Strauss II, which he performed brilliantly. There followed a Roy Orbison medley and some Niel Diamond music. He also played some brilliant Spanish music including "The Spanish Gypsy Dance". His first half concluded with part of Beethoven's "Pathetique" Piano Sonata.
The second half started with a brilliant set of tunes played from his "Theatre Organ in a Box" unit, which has all the Blackpool Wurlitzer sounds sampled and stored, starting of course with "The Fascination Waltz" and many, many more. All in all he played a superb concert which was hugely appreciated by our audience, who all definitely went home with a spring in their step!
Next month is our Christmas concert, which is on Friday December 5th. and will be
given by our Hon. President Nicholas Martin BEM. Definitely not a night to miss.
